SAMSUNG HOPE TO REFURBISH GALAXY NOTE 7

Samsung hopes to refurbish the 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 devices that it recalled after a battery fault led to some catching fire. If local authorities and carriers agreed, and there was demand, it may then resell the phones, Samsung said. It also unveiled two other proposals for recycling the devices, including detaching the components and retrieving the hardware's precious metals. Samsung had faced pressure from environmental campaigner Greenpeace. The organisation had lobbied the technology giant over its plans for the devices, launching a petition and staging global protests including at the Mobile World Congress event. Samsung has confirmed that its much-anticipated answer to Apple’s Siri will be delayed. The Bixby voice-powered assistant was unveiled at a special event last month and was meant to debut on the South Korean giant’s new flagship devices. It promised to help users search and categorise photographs and access information using voice commands. But the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will now ship without English voice control for Bixby. However, Google's voice assistant, which is now a standard part of the Android operating system, will be available. And the Korean version of Bixby's voice control has not been delayed. The full Bixby will be made available as an update later this spring, Samsung said. It did not give a reason why, but early tests - by the BBC and others - suggested the software was lacking in the days ahead of its launch. "Key features of Bixby, including Vision, Home and Reminder, will be available with the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 on 21 Apr...

Technology

Radar sensor for the home which can 'see' through walls A large radar imaging system, previously used in breast cancer detection, has been shrunk and turned into technology which can be used in the home. The company behind the product, Vayyar, is pitching the technology as a single sensor for the smart home. It can detect very subtle movements and the direction they are coming from. The technology could be used as an alert system if a person falls over and is unable to get up or they stop breathing. The sensor has also been fitted into a phone attachment which allows the user to "see" what is behind walls and could prevent accidental drilling through pipes and cables
Mathematics is my aim I shall not fail. It makes me lie down in bodmas   It leads me besides ratios. It restores my result It leads me through the path of square root For simultaneous equations sake Even though I walked through the walls of algebraic expressions I fear no percentages. For the formula are with me The  best yar charts & pie charts They position me well . They prepared multiplication table before me In the presence of factors. They anointed my head with knowledge My brain overflows. Surely, addition & subtraction shall follow me all the days of my life & I shall dwell in the house of index power, forever and ever. Amen..
