How should Barcelona line up against Getafe?



Barcelona are back in action on Sunday with Getafe the visitors to Camp Nou in La Liga. Ernesto Valverde has plenty of decisions to make regarding his starting line-up, particularly in defence,
so let’s have a look at who might start.
Defence
The main question is who will play in central defence on Sunday. Samuel Umtiti is suspended and Thomas Vermaelen will miss out due to injury.
That leaves Valverde with just one fit senior centre-back in
Mina who should make his full debut. Alongside him the options are either Lucas Digne, Gerard Pique (who is in squad) or even Sergio Busquets. Although he could of course also switch to a back three.
At full-back it’s once again between Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo on the right with Jordi Alba on the left and Marc-Andre ter Stegen back in goal.
Midfield
Into midfield and Philippe Coutinho will be hoping for a start having been a goalscoring substitute in midweek. He should come in for Andres Iniesta who has been used a lot recently and may appreciate the break with Chelsea on the horizon.
Ivan Rakitic was superb in midweek and could keep his place alongside Sergio Busquets and Paulinho. Aleix Vidal and Andre Gomes are also options for Valverde if he wants to rotate his squad after a busy period.
Attack
Luis Suarez was simply superb against Valencia on Thursday and he should start in attack with Lionel Messi, unless Valverde fancies resting either. If he does, Paco Alcacer will probably come in, but Barca have a week until their next fixture and we may see a strong team on Sunday.
Possible starting XI: 
Ter Stegen; Roberto, Mina, Digne, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Paulinho, Coutinho; Messi, Suarez.
